The 40 EFI Super Longtail brings added power and maneuverability to this legendary motor by adding an electric clutch, forward and neutral gears. It also features a Uniframe one piece frame with hardened steel drive tube, thick steel skeg and built-in travel lock. The super longtails push larger loads faster than traditional straight drive longtails so it can be matched with boats from 16’-18’. Additionally, this power house boasts a patented bearing drive. It also conveniently turns in to the boat for trailering, a feature Mud Buddy introduced over 20 years ago. If super shallow water and vegetation is your game, then this motor is the one for you.
