Quick question for you hide owners. Ever tow the hide with the drop in decks out? Wondering if the doors will be ok, or if the wind might get under them and rip them. I figure before I leave to go hunt I know which pits I'm gonna use and not taking the drop in decks will save me some time and space (and I'm lazy in the early morning hours). |

Huh? I dont quite understand the question but it is fine to trailer the boat with all the decks in or out. They lock in place and dont/cant go anywhere.

I think he is referring to the cloth pit doors flapping in the wind without the covers.

I drug mine 700 miles with no problems........Just make sure they are buckled together so they dont flop in the wind.

You can actually just shove them down and tuck them under their respective compartments. I never even buckle them to be honest unless I got something under them I don't want to blow out. Then, buckeling them is a great way to not have to worry about either thing.
