Sorry for the ignorant question.

Guide Edition
If you don't get a front hatch then basically to access the front deck storage space you simply have to reach under the front deck. Is this correct?

no ,if you dont get the front storage hatch then you will have an empty compartment that you can not access

Actually on a guide edition G Trax, you can access the empty bow area under the front deck via a small,oval shaped cut out on the front wall of the deck. However, it is a pain in the arse trying to retrieve what you are looking for if you have a bunch of other stuff shoved under there as well, especially if you have an extended deck. The nice thing about the top access hatch is that it makes things much easier in getting something out without draggin everything out just to get to what you are looking for. Also, larger items can be stowed away easier as the top access hatch is a bit larger than the standard cut out. IMO, a top access hatch is a must when getting a guide edition hull. I speak from personal experience as both of my G Traxs have had/do have it as well as every guide edition hull I have sold. I'm sure others with this option would agree. Hope this helps.
