Pretty cool. I always thought once your waders filled up with water, that you would actually sink. I would say that 90% of hunters at the boat ramp are not not wearing PFD's. Always wear your life jacket.

Had it happen to a friend while we were hunting from shore!! The boat capsized while he was chaseing a crip. The neoprene keeped him aflote long enough to swim to shore. Great post!!

I've done the "Official Coast Guard Float Test" unintentionally a couple of times. Had I not already tried a test swim in my neoprenes during warmer weather, I don't know how things might have turned out. Even after seeing this video, I highly recommend taking a swim in your waders, just to get the feel for it and know what to expect. It might help you to keep a level head and not panic, should a worst case scenario occur. This video should be a mandatory part of every hunter safety class! Stay safe out there!

Blackducks- Thank you very much for posting the video. Very informative and got rid of a bunch of myths I've had for a long time. This also makes me feel better about my new wader purchase last year.
