Built This One Motor Last Fall To Check Out The Power Of A Stock 31 Vanguard With 45 Internal Parts.

Has Cam, Pistons, Roller Rockers. Only Difference Between This Motor And The 45 Is The 31 Horse Has A Half Inch Shorter Stroke. It Runs In Between A Stock 35 And 45. Add The Single Mikuni Carb And It Will Haul.

The Motor Retails For $6800.

In Crate With Less Than 30 Minutes On The Engine. Short Transom.

$5600 Plus Shipping. $6000 With Single Mikuni Carb Kit Installed.

That's a good deal. A new 35 crank is around $200. Through in a few dollars in labor and you have a 50 horse motor for less than 7g's.

My buddy may pull the trigger on this one. How does it compare to my 35HD Sport Level 1? He plans to put it on a production 16X52 Allweld. Any thoughts?

it will outrun a 35 with level one ,esp when you put a load in the boat.

Small eng with a lot hp.....is like a race car eng
look at the picture ,was poster yesterday ...the rod hit the starter and stock inside
that eng was made for 1200hp a some inteligent person moved the hp up to 1350,12 hr later bunnnnnnnn
