Default Spark Plug???

Picked up a 2006 35 MB hyper sport. The spark plugs that came out of it were Champian RC12YC and had a .020 gap, is this correct?

I've got the same year and model and the autolite APP3923
works great in my motor
The gap varies per motor should be around 30-35

I thought the autolites were right but what is the different between the APP3923 and the AP3923?
