Somebody is getting fired up for the upcoming season

Came in the house this evening and my oldest girl came running up with her proud picture she had just colored. I was surprised to see what she had drawn. Seems my little girl is getting the bug already as she asked " daddy, when is it time to go shoot some greenheads?" And, " when does teal season start?" That's my girl

And no I don't yell "weeeeeeeeeee" when we are running. It's more like a

That photo of Your little gitl is great . It also appears like Your Dog is ready to defend Her to the death . You shouldn't have to many problems with that young Lady..........

I have to say she is hooked. It looks like a youth model will be in the bind abother year brother!!!!

I don't want to steal your thiunder but my son and I were in a local hardware store and there were some wood cut outs of different animals and he had 3 dollars in quarters he had got out of his bank. He bought cut out of a duck for a buck came home and painted it the color of a green head and said he was going to put it up in my new shop for good luck!!!! Well the shop is all done and I willbe hanging it soon!!! I have to tell you there is nothing like it!!! I do have a question for you though Rick how did you get her over shooting a gun or have you? Mine will shoot a .410 but he is not keen on it.

We have been shootin a .22 here and there. Bringin her along slowly. She has popped a couple of .410 caps and seems to be getting used to it. This will be the last season as a spectator for her. She needs more to be comfortable with the kick and I need more time for reasasurance. I am looking forward to her first duck next season.

As far as the loud reports of multiple guns she doesn't flinch. She has a good set of ear plugs as well.
