Someone asked in another post so thought I would share- My Mom wanted a project for her new sewing machine after last Xmas so she made me a travel cover for my Shaggyish blind. I had some digital camo 1000d cordura (overkill) and she sewed panels together and did an edge stiching so it didn't fray. Formed it to fit around my frame and put tabs on it to cover the ends. I just hold it on with 1" side release buckles/straps or bungees. I don't use it all the time as I roll the blind and tuck in the shaggy material right on the frame that may stick out so it doesn't fray those pieces. I use it when I trailer 8.5 hours to my brother's place or when I want to keep the blind dry/from freezing on the way out. If I know I am going into alot of thicket/sticks I will leave it on until I get to the spot. Blind is taken apart now for summer but here's a pic and diagram to give visuals of my feeble description:

I just happen to have about 50 yrd of digital Gore-tex laying around and your covers would work great . Need em up north , the fast grass gets wet and freeezes so do the Shaggy's . I usually put my blind up when I get home , that way if it freezes I can always put it down when I leave in the morning , if it goes down it will always go up.....

still need to get around to putting that Gore-Tex on my shaggy to make a weather blocker... but I had a buddy put a blocker under his shaggy and when the hunt is over he rolls it up with the blocker on the outside and it seems to keep the shaggy dry and safe from snagging... Jake

I should have some pics up soon of the Improvments.... nothing fancy... just added belly bards and the weather blocker and shorten the blind 2 feet... I wanted my front deck exposed and a place for the dogs to hang out... the doggy holes I made up last year worked but I didn't like them much... Jake
