I have the factory installed seat bases in the floor(center front and back) of my Gatortrax. I have a scissor blind on it and use the swivel-ease 6" offsets on the seats. My concern is this. It works well to have the offsets on full time for moving the seats around, etc. I even use them when we are driving around. Basically, we leave them in all the time. Does using the seat offsets put too much torque on the seat base mounts? I don't want to destroy my seat bases (or pull them out of the floor) by using the offsets. Has anyone had any experience with this? Average about a 180lb person in them usually. |

David told me they have a backer plate under there that's welded to the stringers, then the mount is bolted to that, but I ain't gonna rip it up to see....I don't think you'll have any trouble.:food-smiley-012:
