What choke are yall using for hunting and just shooting clays to practice with. I know there are different setups but which is the best all around. I checked out Briley website and I am thinking of going with the (camo black ported duck-12 gauge-light modified-.015) or (Ext. camo black duck-12 gauge-light modified-.015). I have read good reviews about this choke, just not sure on going ported or just extended. What do ya think?

Call angle port and get their chokes. I love them in my gun.

For clays shooting I like extended ported as the wad gets held behind the shot and a little bit w/o distorting the pattern. For duck hunting (Steel) extended non ported, so all goes out about the same time and the choke gets some more extended life, normally, the constriction is after the thread. Brand name?: Depends on your check book. The way I like it, might not be of your taste.

RZR- I've tried just a whole bunch of chokes and the year before last, I went back to the factory modified choke. I have been happier with it (all purpose) than any other. IMO, save your money. The benelli chokes are pretty good. Use the IC or Skeet for clays or dove field. The mod for decoying ducks. The full for pass shooting. |

Gotcha, I went to a skeet competition thursday. It was supposed to be just a bunch of guys shooting but turned into a random 2 man tournament. I did allright once I settled down and got the hang of a low and high house. I was shooting the factory IC. I will probaly just pick me up a extended choke for shooting clays. Thanks for the help.
