    Default Quick turf question.

I had camo turf in my last boat and noticed it stained bad. How does talks solid colors do. I was thinking dark grey or black in my new boat?

There were a few mud stains, fish slime stains (from bowfishing), and blood stained it bad. I always washed it with soapy water and a scrub brush but it didn't help much. It mostly just stained the light colors.

I have WHITE and blue turf on my bay boat that has had gallons of blood on it from fish over the years. PRESSURE WASHER and it is white as snow.
I have a boat that has had Nat Gear (pretty light) and wasnt washed for 4 years, it was almost black with mud. PRESSURE WASHER and it looks brand new.

never had a problem with it permanently staining myself

the lite color HT will stain with blood... Be careful with the pressure washer also it can cut into the HT but it will take out stains because its taking the top layer off... I was told by Hydro Turf not to use a pressure washer and to be careful at a car wash also... I have had thousands of fish in my boat last year and every morning after a night of fishing I have to go scrub out the boat... due to slim - bugs - fish eggs and Blood Nasty stuff...

what I have found that will work is a product called AWSOME its sold at the Famly Dollar. I use a good deck brush and a garden hose... my rig is the white - Blue and Black camo turf... but my old rig had the B grade grey and it would stain also... if you go with Blk it will get very hot when out fishing during the day... you can cool it off with some water but not the best color for bare feet.

My boat has hunter green HT and I take it to the car wash and put the tire cleaner soap on it let it set 3-4 mins and power spray the hell out of it and it looks like new ever time no blood or fish slim/blood at all. I LOVE THIS STUFF

I pressure wash mine on my bay boat and dont have an issue. Its the only way Ive ever cleaned hydroturf really.

This boat is primarily black with white mixed in and I fish on it barefoot in the LA August heat.
