You have to remove the bolts to take it out , right ????? Couldn't You use quick release pins.....

Also noticed that You have your tiny tach mounted on your handle . I like that ...... Good Idea .
Wasn't there something posted by someone on the forum about a remote location for the tach , something about the lenght of the cable making the tach read slightly off . Did You have that problem

you could probably use quick release pins..but i wanted somethin extra heavy duty,i havent had a problem with it ready weird,i like it there cause im not always looking back at the motor and trimming

Because Mud Buddy mounts them so close, they don't bother with the ground wire. In fact, they cut it off. If you mount a remote one, they often need grounding to work.
