Glenn, Great looking motor! What's with the cavitation plate? What made you decide to add one? Is this something you are thinking about for the larger hypers as well? The new skeg looks really cool. |

First, let me say, great looking motor there. This is exactly what I've been waiting for for years now. On CA's here in MO, there is a 10 hp motor limit. So, the 9 would suit me perfect. I'm getting ready to build another boat, one that I think would work perfect for me. It is a the Duckhunter, which I got the plans from gatorboats.com. It's basically a 14x48 boat built out of wood/covered with fiberglass. Weight should be around 300 pounds empty. It is rated for a gas motor up to 20 hp. I plan on using it to hunt out of on the CA's here in MO. The transom is 15" tall. It will be made out of 3/4" plywood, glueing 2 pcs together, and adding knees for reinforcement. The plans call for 10 degrees outward for the transom. Is this ok for the 9 mini? Again, I think it's great MB has introduced this lineup to the market, I know it is what I have been waiting for. With any luck, I hope to take delivery of one by September, and to have what I hope, will be my perfect duck boat for me. |

I am thinking about getting a six HP. Will it work on this and what kind of speed do you think I will get. The boat weighs 75 lbs. Do you think it will be hard to drive? ![]() |

From the picture I can see you already have a six horse on the back! A little more dog food and you should get another mile per hour or two.

What I'm really waiting on is the performance kit for the 6hp mini....bump that thing up to 38hp, drop it on the back of a kevlar 4 rivers and see what 40mph on a surf board in the mud feels like. :food-smiley-012:

We are going to build lots of the 14s, but have only 20 of the 18s planned. They are left over from the last group of longtails we built, and we will use them up on the mini motors. | |

Will the 14 weigh-in around 154lbs and will the 14 run faster than 15mph? Also, will it still have electric start and pull start? Is there an estimated cost as of yet? 18 - Weight, cost, electric start and pull start? 23 - Weight, cost, electric start and pull start? |

Have a couple of customers that are interested and I am trying to get a handle on a release date. Any updates... are we still in a May timeframe?
