High Tech scouting

Did a little scouting yesterday. Due to the lack of time to scout before teal season I did it the easy, quick way, with a Piper Cub. here's few pics.

This is what we were looking for. Bluewingers !

Guess I'm a cheater too

Buddy and I like taking leisurely flights in the air the 2 days before an opener as well. We consider it mass scouting and saves on the windshield time and wallet

We gonna find 'em anyway but might as well save yourself some time

The guy that trained my dog flies 3 or 4 times a week for fun just happens to be in the area I hunt when he tells me there are ducks I listen if you c his truck at the boat ramp you better get to movin.

Yep ! For about $40 and 2 hours of time I covered both lakes.

It's a good way to do it. Unfortunately we have to get special clearances (DC airspace) and avoid flight paths to two major airports (BWI and Andrews). Makes it a real pain to scout by air. Great pics!

The only problem I have with overhead scouting it the plane part of it.
Ain't got one, that's the only tough part for me!!

O well, maybe next year!

Hey Can , come up My way . I have my friends in Helos do my scouting and they get paid for it...

By the way , it is inside Resticted Airspace , just outside of Nicks area
