Default excel grab bar

Are there any of you that have used the grab bars shown on the excel website. they look stouter than the war eagle ones. If a dealer is on here and they will work on a war eagle, please get me a price.

I think Extra Mud has one. He is gone a few days on a hunting trip. PM him and he will get back to you upon his return.

I just installed a go-devil grab bar on my Excel MW edition. I threw away most of the mounting hardware and bolted the mounting plate to the front of the starboard seat box. It fits PERFECTLY and is rock solid. Cabella's shows it for $225 in their on line catalog (link below). You can call go-devil direct and get it for about $150+ including overnight shipping. If you are running a MB HP35 like mine then the placement of this grabbar like this is about the perfect spacing so it's there when you want it but not in your way. What I also love about it is that it is removable so that you can take it out when hunting so it won't get in the way. You are left with an unabtrusive mounting plate attached to the front of your seat that won't snag anything or tear your waders. I absolutely LOVE it though it did not come cheap at $150.

I did the GT grab bar. It's really solid, fits the front of the box and is removeable too, just a bit less expensive:

1st you need to know your gunnel hight. Most of the Excel Grab Bars are ste up for a 24 inch high gunnel . They are makeing some shorter ones.

The W.E. Grab Bar is adjustable.

OHHHHHH.... hahaha I guess that makes sense. I like the "WE" bar but I dont think it will work on my excel mw. My gunbox is on the starboard side of my boat. I think I need one that mounts paralell to the gunnels. Any ideas??
