Captain thor of the Chesapeake SH,WDQ,CGC.
Thor, a large dark brown Chesapeake Bay Retriever, is our main gun dog. He trains year round and is involved in many field tests during the off season. At two years old Thor earned his Working Dog Qualified Certificate (WDQ) from the American Chesapeake Club. Right now Thor holds his AKC Senior Hunter title. He is currently seeking his Master Hunter title. Thor is also preparing to compete in some qualifying stakes.
He has retrieved over 700 ducks and geese and does very good on Phesaeant and Chukkars at some local upland preserves.

Thor lives and hunts on the Chesapeake Bay.

Thor will be on The American Gun Dog on the outdoor channel in July and he was also pictured in the March/April issue of Ducks Unlimited.

Thor competes in Dock dogs where he consistantly jumps over 20 feet. His best Jump is 23 feet 3 inchs.

Thor also won a blue ribbon his first time in a dog show.

Thor placed 2nd in the Delaware Ducks Unlimited Retriever challenge and was a finalist for the Maryland Waterfowlers Association Maryland Gundog Championship.

One was trained and handled by a 15 year old kid and the other JAMed a derby and earned his SH before he turned 2 and also passed his first master test 1 week after turning 2 years old.

Katie’s dad CH SAKO MH *** had over 20 all age points.

40 chesapeakes earned thier SH in 2008. 1 was Thor and Katie was the mother of 2 others.

We have no pics of the pups since they have not been born yet.
We did breed the dogs and are waiting to see if she is pregnant.
Yes pups are still available.
Thor just passed another master test last weekend.

Just trying to make sure the pups get into good homes.
Have you ever bred a dog? It is nice to get a list of people as soon as possible.
They did have 2 good ties and both dogs have produed a previpus litter.

Gotta side with Jon-Admin here. My family grew up breeding serious hunting labs and even if the internet was available then we would not had OFFICIALLY advertised pups pre-conception let alone priced them. My current dog is a 13 year old female Chessie/Karma who's best hunting days are behind her and before her was another female/Belle who made it to 14. Thats 27 years of the breed. It looks like you have taken the pedigree and training to heart and that is to be commended. I hope she is pregnant and remains healthy to the birth time. Again, my dogs are/were old and wise, but I remember the pups when first born to 8 weeks- no other breed is more cute than a chessie pup (baby bears cubs that sell themselves) add some pedigree and the history your dogs have and all will go to good homes and deliver a lifetime of unselfish devotion. Good Luck, but don't jump the gun you got the entire gestation period and 8 weeks to find good homes. We are all excited with you, besides I bet there are a few on this forum that know how good a Chessie looks as a hood ornament on a Mud Boat.

You have to see where the admins are coming from on this post. The whole thing does seem a little fishy solely because you have no pups there are no pups on your website nor are there any pups of previous litters. This section of the forum is used to help sell mud motors and to help customers sell what they have, not what they could potentially have. Please read the forum rules for posting in the mudmarket. I am closing this thread because you are referring people to your site that shows not past pups that is why it is thought you are promoting your website. When your pups hit the ground take some pictures and post them then. The mere fact you are showing two dogs hooked up is distasteful in itself so please do not post anymore pictures of that. You have a good looking dog and congrats on your other dog that is in DU. Good luck with your pups I hope she does get pregnant and please refrain from promoting your website that is something that has to be pre approved by the admins and the big guy himself. Please repost your pups when they have hit the ground and let us know they are up for sale.
