Welcome Folks!

I do get my boat up to Lake George from time to time. I mostly run the St. Johns River between Lake George and Lake Harney. I spend a lot of time in Lake Jessup. Just yesterday a friend and I were loaded up and pulling our boats out of the Lake Jessup bridge boat ramp and someone went by on S.R. 46 heading west pulling a nice looking GT with a 35 Hyper Sport. Other than my buddy Bill Hoffmiester's that is the only other one I have seen around here. I have an Excel 1754 with a 29 Kawasaki. I am seldom home from my project in S.W. Florida, but when I am I like to run my boat. If anybody is heading down the St. Johns on the weekend, drop a line and maybe we can hook up. Welcome aboard you guys.

I will certainly do that. If I run from the 17-92 bridge in Sanford up there it is about a 6 hour ride each way! I usually trailer up to the S.R. 44 bridge in DeLand and then it is only about 1-1/2 to 2 hours. That St. John's is one long river (about 160 miles)! I am usually on here at least once a day so stay in touch.

I just joined the forums ...

I'm just a little south of whistling wings ... I'm the one with the 36 PD on an 18x54 Excel. Yes, I've been running mud at Jessup. Only been stuck once ... for almost an hour. Mud motors do NOT run dry! :019: I was about 50 yards out of the visible water ... up into the mud. The mud was so dry that plants were starting to grow ... about 1"-2" tall. You know that you are stuck when all of the mud is so dry/sticky that when you blow out a hole around the prop ... nothing runs to fill it in. :WTF:

Yeah, I caught your Mud Buddy and company abuse over on another forum. Eventually, they all come here to see how the best of the best operate.
By the way....we don't do that here!!!!!!!

KH, I too have seen your MB bash on other forums. You got alot of nerve IMO joining our forum and trying to act civil then going over to other forums and talking trash against MB. While all are welcome here, a little integrity goes a long way..............

I haven't read the fellow's posts elsewhere so this is just a general observation about life. Not that any of us are perfect at it, but it seems things go a lot smoother if you don't talk about folks behind their back, even in private. Now, if you say one thing in one public place and talk another way in another public place . . . well, that reflects on your intelligence as well as your audacity. But hell, politicians do it all the time, and only some people call bs on them. I don't mind that they do it, but expecting me to hold them in high regard when they do is another story. Personally, I have more regard for a whore in church. I figure at least she means well. She is probably there for her spirit rather than for business interests.

I'm not on any other forums so I won't comment. All I can say is noboby needs to trash anyone for any reason on this forum (or any other for that matter) life is too short for that. If you want to run mud boats and have some fun let me know and I'll try to be there.

I am in Paisley, just West of Deland. I have a 18' Legend Craft with a 35 HP hyper Sport that I got from Sid at Fast Duck Motors. I would love to know when anything is organized for central florida mudders. Kim Schmale

If all goes according to plan I will own 23 longtail by the end of the month. And around the first of August I will be moving to Lake City area. Is anyone on here anywhere close to that? Would love to meet up with some folks around there and ride or maybe hunt some to

I am about 2 hours south of Lake City, pretty long ride. You might check some of the Florida duck hunting forum sites I think there are some people from that area on them.
