    Default Breaking ice with a Excel ?

    I`d like to from those that have broke ice with a Excel.What kind of ice runners does it have?What kind of job did it do breaking ice? Did the boat hold up ok?

    Broke ice to the point it couldn't be broke anymore. Boat does fine. No problems. These are built to take punishment. There is a angle brace in the center (keel) that runs down to the flat part of the hull. That takes most of the punishment.

    To your other post. Excel and WE aren't in the same category. WE is fine, work great, just not even close to as durable as the Excel. If you are going to run a MM than the Excel or another boat made for the application are worth the additional $.
