Default belly bars or not?

Do the belly bars work well with the MB fast grass blind? Those that run them - do you like that set-up or would you not recommend using the belly bars on the fast grass blind? I like the idea of more interior room that the belly bars give but not sure how the real world applications works.

I was using a custom blind I made last year without the belly bars. I ordered the shaggy with the bars and it is a much nicer setup. You can go as tight as you want on the top and still have plenty of room because of the bars. Hope this helps.

Has anyone run the fast grass with the belly bars?

Ronbow,
Do the belly bars fold up easy? and set up easy? have you tried the fastgrass on yours? How has your shaggy material held up? I have heard the material comes off from trailering more so than the fastgrass.

I made covers for the shaggy when trailering - keeps it dry too.

The belly bars are bolted to the frame and fold flat with it, the strapping goes together on top in the up where I overlapped the shaggy and pull it together making a place to shoot through. Never tried fastgrass, have not found anything shaggy cant hide in, it did shed at first but that stopped, If you wrap it as per directions the netting is on the outside for trailering. Deadbird send me a pic of those covers

Simbre, I have not tried the belly bars with the fastgrass. Worst case scenario, you can always remove them of you don't like them. The Shaggy will shed for a while but Deadbird has the right idea for trailering.
