Default Bans on MM

Heard some discussion on another forum about banning MM in parts of South Carolina. I hope that this is not true. Do any other states have bans on MM. I know that there are some restrictions in some areas. Don't see that big deal with MM they aren't loud enought to matter, and if you use them with some common sense they don't do any enviromental damage. Regular outboards have the exhust in the water, that is an enviromental problem. The problem that I see is if they start banning MM it would be long before they just ban hunting in these same areas.

i think it is some old timers looking to blame duck numbers on some dumbies who ride the rice field during season.trashduck should be able to keep up with it since it is in his backyard
