Yall buncha maroons! IF you're an owner, you're a 'Pro Staffer' (as far as I'm concerned) and it's just a way of inviting MB folks for certain times and every other MM owner for others. Certain things I do want to happen, and others I don't ...just based on what I've seen in the past. ANY MB OWNER that wants to come up a day early is welcome to ride with us on Friday...it will be a time for Glenn to shoot some footage, if he makes it down. It will also be a time for us to play in the same AND different areas from the demo day, see stuff, and fish, bs, whatever....together as a group of MB owners, dealers, etc.....cuz Saturday morning will be non-stop riding with anyone and everyone that wants a demo. ANYONE that is a MB owner, that wants to demo their rig is welcome and appreciated Sat a.m....cuz I'm hopin' we get to educate a lot of folks in this area.:)

I'll put my boat up for demo rides. I'm not above sharin'!! I'm sure there will be plenty of other things for me to do there while people are out runnin the boats. Should be a good time, but I'm still bringing the bass rods. I may even come up sometime Wednesday or Thursday so that I can guarantee myself some time to find fish.:017:

Hehe....the meaning for most of them is seeing stars after leaving the bar. How long is the drive from N.O. to Guntersville? |

Six hours....only 4 if you average 98mph.:017: I never waited 'til I left the bar to see the stars...seems somebody would make some for me every now and then.

Dude...I killed that nanner...somethin' about a nanner with a boner bouncin' around on here was just TMI for display....the boobie girl is nice, but the boner has to go. BTW, It's looking like the Stevenson/Crow Creek area may be a roundup site. Gonna ride up there some more, soon....but it's got tons of weeds, lillies, mud, stumps, open flats and winding creeks....little bit of all of it. It's about an hour or less from Huntsville, AL, Rome, GA, and Chattanooga, TN....so easy to get to, especially from I-24. Working on everyone's scheduling for the 12th of August...Glenn and the MB crew, Tim Scott, Kent Saxon/David Porter, etc. are all coming....trying to get Don from Legend Craft there and also some War Eagle reps/dealers. Tim is gonna bring the 'Viper'...lookout. Nearest good hotels will be in Scottsboro, about 15 miles away. I'll post up more details and maybe even pics as I finalize more stuff over the next week or two. DATE IS STILL SATURDAY, AUGUST 12TH FOR THE DEMO.

Okay, just got back a bit ago from runnin' Crow Creek a little. It's better than I expected or remembered it, at least for this time of year....it's silted in a lot more and by August, the weeds and lillies should be TOUGH. Lot of stumps, and many in the places you don't expect them, so it can keep you on your toes....some soft bottom, some hard, some open flats, some tight creeks. decent ramp with TONS of parking area and open space and shoreline for everything....all in a municipal park/Waterfowl Refuge...it'll be a nice setup. I didn't EVEN get to run as much or as far up in the nasties as I intended, because the boys decided they wated to go fishing and the wife decided to come along...I tend to take it easy with them aboard....and wouldn't you know it, my youngest found the shellcrackers bedding and proceeded to catch the snot out of them for about an hour or so, too....so got a little side tracked. So, here are a few pics...nothing great, and all the water is 6" and less in these photos....without the weeds being topped out and the water being up for summer, you can get in trouble quick here in a place that looks like you got plenty of water ....till you feel the hull ride up and slow down quick! One of many sloughs: Looking into part of the Crow Creek Channel to the timber This don't look like much, but you better hit it fast and hang on to the handle...stumps over hardbottom and 2-3" of water... We'll have tons of these, up a good bit higher and thicker, come August...

a few more..... This is one of MANY buckbrush flats around...there were turkeys in the woods right before we took that picture. This is taking off in about an inch of water over 3" of silt over a hard bottom. Side-tracked....Devin and a shellcracker (the flat behind us was VERY shallow on the way to this little 'hole') DINNER!

GLenn, I'll call you or shoot you an email with all the info I have so far, but the date for the roundup will be Saturday, August 12th at Stevenson Municipal Park on Crow Creek Refuge. There should not be any issues with running on the refuge, and within a half mile is the management area portion of it that we'll be running on a lot, anyway. The only restrictions there are on airboats between Nov. and February.
