Looks like the "rat clubbers" will be fighting the boats on the rivers edge for position come season. I saw a lot of black cinder with only a few tules still lining the canals. Not enough cover to hide a person, none the less a boat. Glad the winds were from the north and Miller Island wasn't damaged.  Hope all the nesting birds were hatched out and made it to open water to escaped the flames. |

The wind was actually coming from the south-south west. The fire started on the south end of the club and took off. The fire crews lit a back fire on the north end. The only plus side for the rat club is that the honks may like the regrowth.
