I just got a Excel 1754 Midwest edition and new MB 35 HD. I have wanted this set up for some time and can't wait to hit the water next weekend for opening of the Iowa duck season. This next week I have to put my blind on the boat. I have a 3-4 year old MB fastgrass blind with a windblocker and want to put the blind on my new boat. I like the shaggy blind, but the areas I hunt are primarily cattails and the fast grass blends in really nice. I was looking for suggestions on how to install the fastgrass blind on the new boat without using the PVC tubes along the rail. I have read some posts that utlized the belly bars and straps for the shaggy blind that go into the t-rail and was wondering if someone has any advice or picutres on attaching the blind frame. I thought I rember seeing some pictures from previous posts, but I can not find them. Couple other questions:

1. Would I need to keep the netting to attach the grass mats? If not how do you attach them and the wind blocker?

2. How do you prevent the sides from blowing around at the bottom?

3. How do you convince your wife to purchase a new shaggy blind after spending a good chunk of change on a new rig?
