RockinR...which reservation (name of) are you referring too?

I looked at the SD Game and Fish website last night, and tried to sift through the multitude of pages of info. Between identifying the hunt units, dates, species, license requirements, etc it's like trying to navigate a complicated federal tax return in the old days before TurboTax! Dang...they sure don't make it simple. I did find that the waterfowl lottery applications will be available June 1 and due July 11....if the website is correct and has been updated. I

If anyone has any leads on who to contact for guide info. in the "Lower Plains North" unit or anywhere close to that half of the state I'd appreciate it. Using a guide would simplify things, but a "do-it-yourself" outing would be just as fun and much cheaper! Also, if anyone has any info. on hunting the southern/southeastern part of North Dakota for ducks that might also be of possible interest. From where we will be on our pheasant trip to N.D. probably is not an unreasonable drive.
