I've got the Minn Kota Pontoon 48" (don't let the name fool you, it's a 54# motor) with the co-pilot. I just took a 7" receiver hitch, turned it upside down, welded a steel plate to it & then bolted on the quick-detach mount. Insert into my receiver and I'm in business. Now there's nothing in my way at the bow when hunting or fishing and taking it off is a snap.
