Do you have an hour meter instead of a Tiny Tach?, because the Tiny Tach counts time ONLY when the engine is running. Having the key on doesn't cause it to count time.

hate say it buy sounds like you dont know what is going on with your motor how can you really say that the oil was changed every 10 - 15 hours when you thought that there was a extra 33 hrs on the motor??? that is 2 maybe 3 oil changes. that were not done.

Ive changed the oil & filter 7 times in two years so im thinking that it been well taking CARE of as for as oil changes.Change spark plugs about the same.I try to take care of my stuff and keeping the oil and plugs new is one way of doing that mite, be over kill but thats why my equipment last.And 3 air filters.

I have a tiny tach that did similar thing to me. New Cub Cadet lawn mower. Had ~ 12 hrs on it when I put it away, a week later went to mow and it had ~ 200 hrs on the tiny tach. Not sure what happend, only that it did.

I had 80 hr's on tach and left key on and KILLED battery DEAD so put new battery in and now had 113 hr's on tach and did not run the motor,Ive ran motor 3 hr's more and timed run time on stop watch and it's rite on the money now.Stranger thins have happen to me! BIG -AHHHHHHHH -HA, Just talked to a landscaper and he had a tree struck by lightning and all 4 mowers with tiny tachs hr's jumped some a lot some a little. I had same thing happen at my boat shed so MABY!!!!!!!!! BUGMAN
