 First Mud Buddy motor
I just picked up my first mud motor - a Kaw 27hp liquid cooled MB longtail - and today was the first outing. Before going out I checked the oil which was about a 1/4 qt low and greased the zerks. I also checked the oil in the shaft and it was full. Any other suggestions for maintenance? I put in some new 93 octane fuel, added some carb/FI cleaner and ran about an 1 gallon through it today in the course of about an hour. The motor is four years old but looks brand new and starts right up, although a couple of times it was hard to start after it warmed up. Also, any tips on swinging this thing around from the boat? thanks!
