Quick Flip Deluxe Mounting Details

Our new Quick Flip blind frame is custom built for your boat. We have used the double front-and-rear crossbar system for years, but have found that it uses up too much floor space and gets in the way when operating the new HyperDrive style motors and outboards.  Our solution, which uses a mix of three different types of mounts, allows you to measure your boat for the blind, then select which of the mounts you prefer for the front and rear.  The photo below shows one type using the rear post and front crossbar.

Top view (shows frame folded down) with post and crossbar mounting options.

End view showing our one-pole frame system.  Its design adjusts to various size and width boats and folds down neatly to the side of any style boat, v, mod v, or square front. The telescoping pole design allows for many different top height and opening selections.

More on our exclusive blind frame design. The one-pole system is stronger, takes up less room, is easy to use and folds quickly to the side of the boat. The quick flip top is adjustable with three positions, from completely closed to completely open. It also has three height adjustments in between. And when the season is over, just remove two bolts and the entire blind removes quickly.  The post style mount system uses a seat base which can then be used for a fishing seat during the summer.

Mount types: You have your choice of any mount for the front or rear of the boat.  Specify when ordering.

Post style:  Commonly used in back, but can also be cut down and used on the front deck as well.  The post base doubles as a seat mount when the blind is not being used.

Note:  We now offer a conversion kit for all previous year model blinds that allows you to eliminate the crossbar and use this convenient post mount.  ($38.50 plus shipping.)

Deck Mount:  This is secured by screwing the mount to the front deck or the top of the rear bench seat.  Comes with four 1/4" self tapping screws.  During off season, simple remove the bolt and the blind quickly removes for storage.

Crossbar Mount:  This is mostly used on the bow of the boat.  Its width is adjustable and the hooked ends clamp on the boat for easy removal.  The crossbar can be used in the rear of the boat, but it does get in the way of sitting and the mud motor handle.

Suggested Care.
Put mud with water in bucket and coat the blind to cut down the sheen.
If you add any holes, seal the threads so they don't unravel.
The fabric is wind and water resistant.  Occasional use of camp-dry and other
after market waterproofing is suggested, especially when the blind gets muddy or
in heavy rains and on seams.  Slant the top to allow water to run off the rear or front.
