August 17, 2003 The most wonderful woman in the world just gave me a 25 hp Kohler Mud Buddy for a graduation present. We took it out Saturday to try it out, and all I can say is Wow. She said that you all were really wonderful about helping her do this for me, and I can't thank you all enough. Also, you guys have a wonderful partner in Shipp's Marine in Gladewater, TX. They were equally as wonderful in installing the motor for me and in taking care of the details on their end. Great bunch of guys. What do I need to do to set up a username and
password for the customer Mud Buddy,
I have 23 hp vanguard mudbuddy. Love it--------gets
me where other hunters can't go. What info do you need for me to get
a password to your site?
Hi,
Eric Nicols
I received my blind yesterday and put it
on. It is amazing. I am a new owner of a 29hp MudBuddy. The only way I can describe the motor is WOW. My partner and I took two scouting trips into the Delaware River tidal marshes in New Jersey. The 1754 tracker that the motor is mounted on proceeded to run in water as shallow as 2 (two) inches. At one point we slid hard in a turn and put half the boat onto a railroad embankment - the other half was in less than 6 inches of water - I lowered the prop, applied some power and we were off again. We ran in areas that no other motor driven boat and even some canoes could not go. We then took a duck hunting trip into one of our backwater areas that no one else can reach at low tide. The boat and motor performed as expected. We ran through water so shallow you could feel the mud dragging the bottom of the boat. This was with a full load of dog, hunters (2), decoys and fast grass blind!! We did come to a point when even the Mud Buddy could not go. We realize now that though we can go in 2 inches of water and mud we cannot go when the mud is 6 inches above the waterline. The blind was impressive while hunting and we are in the process of designing a flip top roof for it to help keep us older guys dry and warm. Thank you for a great product and special thanks to Clint in sales for helping make my choices. John New

Mud Buddy, Adam Burger, Texas Dec 2, 2003 Hello, I just spent the past 2 days hunting from one of your boats and blinds. It worked great and we even killed a few ducks. I was wondering if the plastic/rubber gun holders were available for sale. If so I would like to buy 4. Thank you for your time. You make a GREAT product. Thanks again. See you on the water. Mike Bennett I want to let you know I am running one of your natural fastgrass blinds on my 15ft. Xpress. This is one awesome blind. I hunt the Horicon Marsh in Wisconsin. This is a large cattail marsh and your blinds are the most realistic blending blinds I have ever used in this location. We virtually disappear in the surrounding vegetation and the ducks really take a beating. Keep up the good work as you build some of the finest duck-hunting equipment available. Sincerely, Scott Martin
Hello,
Just recently I made a trip down to
Springfield, LA to pick up my new 18 x 54 Gator Trax boat with a
29 HP Kawasaki MudBuddy motor and I just wanted to let you that
the package is AWESOME. The boat is a tank and the
motor is
unbelievable.... The 29 has so much power that even this big boat
is no problem to maneuver and eat some serious mud with quiet a
bit of top end speed. I've gone places that I never even new
existed. Thanks to all for such a great product.

We purchased a DU motor for our DU
banquet back in the fall, and a friend of mine purchased it. We've
given it hell and it keeps on tickin'. I really wanted a 9hp for my
smaller boat but now am wondering how the smaller hp motors can get
through the heavy hydrilla. Now I'm all confused about what to get.
I am however, extremely interested in 15 ft duck skiff, we are
finding that tough timber is a chore to navigate, although 36" wide
worries me a little on shallow draft. Glenn was super cool and
you've been a big help too. Hopefully I can make my mind up by tax
time. Your company has no peers. Keep doing what your doing. |
