 Congratulations on being the DU official motor. 

 

I bought my 5hp Mud Buddy late last summer and I love it!  I use it on a Kara layout boat for duck hunting. 
 

I would recommend Mud Buddy to anyone.

Dear Mud Buddy,

Love the motor.  Outboards wouldn't even try to get where I hunt. Passed up a Slow-Devil in the shallow stump flats. After daylight, I bet he was wishing he had a Legend Craft with a Mud Buddy! Mallards and Jags...

Dear Mud Buddy

I'm the proud owner of 23 HP Vanguard Mud Buddy.  This is my third mud engine, and by far the best.  I can take my 15' flatboat through mud, thick grass, water lillies, and just about anywhere.  I really think I could run it across the lawn, with just a little water.  I cut ditches for my buddies with outboards.  I used to own a 20 HP Vanguard Go-Devil, and your motor outperforms that Go-Devil in every respect. 

The Mud Buddy seems very well thought out, well balanced, outstanding fit and finish, and easy to run at any speed.  I feel so much more confident knowing the Mud Buddy will get me there and back, with better performance and reliability every time.

I'm a big fan, and I'll certainly recommend your motor to my hunting friends.

I am Pepper Robinette's partner.  I am the quiet one you seldom here from.  When I call I get Clint and bother him.  It was about 5 years ago that I met you & your wife in Sacramento at the Sport Show.  That was when I asked about being a dealer for Mud Buddy and when I returned home I got Pepper interested in being a partner on this venture.  It has been a great business opportunity for both of us.

We have basically nothing but positive comments on all the motors we have sold.  The only negative points were from individuals who wanted smaller motors that were not up to what they wanted to do.  The one thing I do want to commend you and your business on is the quickness to respond to problems either with replacement parts or advise. That has helped us tremendously (it also helps that Pepper is an excellent welder and repair man).  The other thing that is important is you have a top notch motor that is dependable and basically indestructible.


The pictures I sent you (I promised to send you a year ago) are of the Fish & Wildlife Rescue Boat.  If the truth was known I think they bought it to blend in with hunters to check for on violations.  I have seen the boat out several times this year but not sure what they were doing.
