To everyone at Mudbuddy,
To: Kent, David and all the employees at Gator
Trax/Mud Buddy
My wife and I picked up our 18 x 44 boat
at your place just before Thanksgiving. I had high expectations
for it's performance and it has exceeded those expectations. I
took it to Lake Okeechobee a week ago and the boat is simply
amazing. The Mud Buddy Kohler 25hp runs good and takes on the
vegetation at Lake Okeechobee better than I could have ever
imagined. Hydrilla, hyacinths needle grass, etc, all no problem.
A friend was with me and when I took it through about a
quarter mile patch of heavy hydrilla he turned to me and said "
this thing is amazing, I would have never believed you could do
this with anything other than an airboat".
The fit and finish on the boat is excellent and has passed the scrutiny of my fishing/hunting buddies. The ride in some healthy chop on Lake Okeechobee was very smooth and comfortable. My previous Jon boats would have beat you to death in the same chop. This is one terrific boat, motor, trailer combination. I am sending a copy of this to Clint at Mud Buddy to let him know how much I like the Mud Buddy motor and your boat. I would like to thank you, David and all of the employees at Gator Trax for building me this terrific boat. My wife and I enjoyed our visit to your place, getting to meet all of you and especially David's wife and their new baby.
Sincerely,

I take my mud buddy just about everywhere I can. All the other guys have jet boats but now they all want a mud buddy. I can leave them in my dust so to speak.

Dec 2002 Mud Buddy I have one word for Mud Buddy Products, "Fantastic."
I hunted the Tule Lake, Lower
Klamath Basin in California and Oregon this 2002 hunting
season. I used to hunt the Sacramento Valley in excellent
duck club. But due to rice decomp, and more and more
new refuges springing up, the bird take has fallen off
dramatically.
So this year I decided to
pull out of the duck club and go back to the Lower Klamath
Basin. I took the duck club money and purchased the Mud
Buddy Honda 24 motor, Mud Buddy fast grass blind, and a 16'
john boat. I totally rigged the boat with a gun locker,
running lights, grab bar, and made it a duck hunting
machine.
I was able to shoot more
ducks this year than I have in the past 3 seasons. The Mud
Buddy motor took me to areas I could have never hunted with
a conventional or modified outboard motor. The Mud Buddy
Motor took us in just inches of water and mud, for this year
was another drought year in the Klamath Basin. As you
know the birds love newly flooded fields and we were able to
get in these fields with ease. Once we got in the field, the
Mud Buddy Fast Grass Blind concealed our presence and we
shot limits on a daily basis.
I hunted the Tule Lake marsh,
and the mud was so bad, with out a mud motor it was almost
impossible to hunt. My Mud Buddy motor got me in and out
with hardly any difficulty. The Mud Buddy fast grass blind
blended perfectly with the tules and the birds hardly new we
were there. It's been years since I've shot mallards" in
your face" and that's what it was shooting the Tule Lake
marsh this year.
I'm a Field Reporter for
Western Outdoor News in California and was able to write
some great articles this season. I owe my success this
season to Mud Buddy and highly recommend their products to
all.

My buddy runs one of your motors on the
Horicon Marsh here in Wisconsin. Last year we had an
incident on the late goose hunt. My friends 18' Seaark with
a 60 Yamaha got packed in ice where it was damming up and my
friends 24 Honda Mud Buddy, after breaking a few tow ropes,
managed to pull it out over the ice flow. Even
though he nearly lost the boat, we laugh about it today.
Just thought you would like to know.

new web site advertising a free video. Please send
one. I own a Mud Buddy 24 and had it since Aug 2001.
I'm completely satisfied. All I know is my waterfowl
season keeps getting better and better...
Thanks to you and Mud

Team Mud Buddy,
Being a waterfowl guide on public reservoirs means I have to be able to get my clients to and from the hunting areas safely and without incident. I also have the need to isolate my clients from others hunters. My Kohler 25 MB enables me to get to the furthest backwaters to insure a good hunt by leaving the hunting pressure behind. I have put my Mud Buddy thru nothing short of pure torture. You name it and I have probably run thru it or over it. My Mud Buddy is mounted on the back of a 1744 GE Gator Trax and it is a marriage made in heaven. This setup has gotten me into areas of my lakes that I used to only wonder about. Also , I would like to thank Clint for the great customer service that he provides. You've got questions--he's got answers. Mud Buddy is the epitome of what good business is all about--A quality product made by quality people. Rick McCurley Cupped Wings Guide Service ![]()

Hey Mud Buddy; MY GOSH YOU SHOULD SEE EVERYONE'S REACTION HERE IN CENTRAL TEXAS WHEN THEY SEE MY RIG, I THINK THERE MIGHT BE SOME BROKEN NECKS FROM PEOPLE STARING SO HARD.
PEOPLE ARE CONSTANTLY COMING UP TO ME,
THEY CANT BELIEVE IT.
IT HAS ALREADY PAID OFF, WE WERE ABLE TO
GET FAR UP INTO A CREEK WHERE NO ONE ELSE COULD GO. WE SET
TROTLINES AND HAD MORE FISH THAN ANYONE ELSE WE SPOKE TO.
WITH THE BIGGEST ONE BEING A 10 POUND BLUE CAT.
AND ONE OF THE BEST THINGS, WE RAN
TROTLINES ALL WEEKEND AND ONLY USED ABOUT A GALLON OF
GAS!!!!!!
TOTALLY ENJOYING IT.

July 30, 2003 On a side note, I also wanted to tell you how impressed I am with the 29hp Kawa MB. I have it mounted on a 1752 Lowe Roughneck. I was out in a marsh last week with 3 guys (800 pounds, easy) in the boat, the motor was awesome. An outboard would have never gotten to where we were because it was too shallow, a jet motor would not have made it because there was too much mud and weeds, even a canoe could not have gone there because the current was too strong. We actually had the boat bottomed out on a sand bar, all we did was drop the prop and throttle up and we were on our way.
