Gentlemen: My friend, Hernan Cortes, bought a 24 hp. Mud Buddy more than a year ago and it has made a believer out of me! I have owned a Go-Devil for many years but my next purchase will certainly be a Mud Buddy. The construction, design, and performance are real improvements in the mud motor field and you are leading the pack. We hunt in the Florida Everglades, harsh terrain, and this engine has met the challenge! I hope to be in the market next year and will keep up with any new developments, the Kohler 25 Gold looks like my focus right now, I own an Alumaweld 1544 jon boat that should be compatible with that engine. If you ever have any hats for  sale please advise, I would gladly purchase several.

Dear Mud Buddy:

We recently took a fishing trip to Bull Shoals and brought the Mud Buddy
along.  Not only did it perform superbly in the shallow water, but we
also had a SHOW STOPPER!  I believe every person in the camp and others
that drove through stopped to ask Todd about it. My parents came along on the trip and were amazed at the attention we were getting.  I am attaching a picture we took of our boat with the Mud Buddy on it and our camp site.  You can see the White River in the background.

Mud Buddy;

I just got done test driving my new Honda 24hp extra long shaft Mud Buddy on my 16ft. Lund v-hull boat. Simply amazing! I typically hunted big water as my boat was to big for the shallow stuff. That is not a problem anymore. I pushed my boat through water today so shallow it could barely float. I no longer need to hunt with a huge decoy spread trying to pull the birds to where I am hunting. Now I will be hunting where the birds want to be, back in the shallows, and away from the crowds.

The mud buddy may not have been the 'first' engine of it's kind but
I must say you sure used state of the art technology to make it the 'best' in a hurry.

In my opinion the two most important features of a backwater motor are
durability and reliability. You don't want to break down or get stuck
in the remote marshes, bayous and swamps of Louisiana where I hunt and
fish. The mud buddy is not only tough and dependable but has features
like the swinging tailshaft that rides in the boat, not on the road.

And, it's its extensive list of exclusive features make buying a mud motor easy, even for someone as particular as me.  It is easy to see a lot of foresight went into the design of mud buddy.

I wanted to write and tell you how impressed I am with the design and performance of the Kohlor 25 extended shaft motor I received last year!
I initially ran this on my low transom 16/51 and it out performed all my expectation. I now have on my new 17/60 with a 20" transom and all I can say is "WOW." 

I didn't think it could get any better, but it did.

I run the rocky Fox River by my house and it has held up great. I've also powered it in the muddy backwaters of both the Illinois & Mississippi rivers without one problem!  Being able to get to those "secret" spots where others can't has made duck hunting even better.

I love the ability to swing the motor into the boat which has made long trips better & less stressful.

At last!!!!!!!!!!!  A mud motor that a commercial guide like myself can simply turn the key, advance the throttle and just go!

Guiding in the Louisiana marshes in excess of 250 days a year, I need a mud motor that is dependable, tough, and smooth.  I need to get my clients to the marsh and in the harshest condition and back, day after day.

Mud Buddy's had exceeded my every expectation.  I used the rest and so happy to have finally found the ultimate duck boat motor.  Your rig is by far so much better built, so well thought out, and generations ahead of the rest.  Like you said, your bearing drive is the leader, it requires no maintenance.  And I love your built in swivel tilt assembly.  No more need to adjust the motor, and no more worry about tilting too far back into the boat like other models.  As you know, tilting too far back can cause engine damage and has always been a worry until I got your motor.

It didn't take a rocket scientist to see mud motors needed a new frame design and drive and your unit is plainly built by engineers that know what it takes to build the best mud motor.

And I can't say enough about your service.  You guys built me a custom handle, provided overnight service and provided just plain "in-your-face" outstanding service.  The people at Mud Buddy are kickin!

By the way, if you wanna see a marriage made in heaven, check out your motor on the new Gator Trax boat.  It like your motor is built for us guides and serious duck hunters.

Hey Mud Buddy;

Wow, I bought the 27 kaw thru the boys at outland marine a couple of weeks ago ... lets just say my friends and I renamed the motor to "BAMF" I cant believe what a difference the new models have over the previous ones. I owned the 20 Honda for a couple of years and was not really satisfied with the over all performance. now with the newer roller bearings and beefier assembly these new mudbuddy's really are state of the art. I went through a wall of cattails so thick that you couldn't even drag a canoe through and I had 2 dogs and 2 buddies and all our gear in the boat and went in about 60 yards or more, even had enough power to push my 16x48 jon boat over a 2 1/2 ' muskrat mound. with all of us still in the boat) that motor has some serious torque!

Dear Mud Buddy;

With location a crucial element in TakeEm’s success formula, I wouldn’t be without my Mud Buddy motor. Many times I’ve had to hunt a secondary location, because my outboard motor couldn’t push my boat through heavy vegetation or mud in route to where the ducks or geese were hanging out. This is no longer and issue. It is incredible what these motors can push a boat through! My Mud Buddy motor has surpassed all my expectations.

Tip: For consistent hunting success, you need to be in the right spot every time. Since we can't always predict the best spot when hunting new water, being mobile is often the key to success. The energy and timesaving of a Mud Buddy Backwater Motor is a huge asset in these situations.

My name is Thomas Behney and I purchased a 13 Mud Buddy from you awhile back.  I can only tell you haw delighted I am with this unit.  It does all you said and then some.  The quality is way above the Go-Devil and Beavertail.  I shopped carefully and nothing compares.  This unit runs so smooth on long trips.  My hands don't get sore like on my old Go-Devil.  The bearing system is unbelievable strong and I like not having to perform daily  maintenance.  I recommend Mud Buddy to anyone that asks me about mud motors.  When I have a question, your staff is always there and helpful.  Keep up the good work and I wish you guys all the success possible.
