The Kit is very easy to install. Simply remove the lower swivel 5-bolt assembly (shown below); disconnect trim motor wires, slide the engine and base from the old mount and install on the new mount. Reconnect the trim wires; connect the power wires and you are back on the water.
Remove this lower swivel bolt assembly from outdrive casting.
Raise the engine, engine base and outdrive. The swivel pin is attached to the engine base. Lower the engine base and outdrive on to the new mercury swivel. Takes approximately 1 hour to install.
