The HD Lite is built similar to the Sport model, however it has a different balance and steering point which gives the seasoned operator more control over the motor for extreme duty performance.   Meaning, it takes much less effort to raise the propeller out of the water using the operator handle making this motor extremely maneuverable in tough conditions such as timber, rocks, logs and ice.  This balance drive is preferred by mud motor enthusiasts with lots of stick time.
