Floating Duck Blind

Shown here with the Hyper 29 Kawi EFI.  It weighs approximately 1200 pounds (loaded with options) and runs like a dream.  We pushed it up to 18 mph and were impressed with the hole shots, top end and quick turns.  The Hyper engine did great, but it was obvious we needed to change out the gears to accommodate the load and increase the RPM from 3400 to 3900.  (note:  the gears can be changed on the Hyper in 30 minutes by the average guy that has a few wrenches.)  We will change them out and run the blind in the next couple weeks and post a video with new top end speeds, plus mud.

Not all floating duck blinds are the same and Gator made sure of that when they built this gem.  Differences can be seen. The 8 X 18' floating blind is tapered in the front, the sides are broken for maximum strength, has the legendary Gator rock-solid bow construction, the rear platform was designed for the Hyper and with the operator in mind, and the balance point has been changed, which allows this boat to run at peak performance when on step.  Good work guys.

Blind cover (for vegetation, Fastgrass etc. will be available.  Can be ordered without top box section.  MB will built a Quickgrass blind kit for flat version.
